They'd struggled to find or maintaining a romantic relationship or they'd been hurt by losing one. Therefore, they'd turned to realistic sex dolls as an alternative.

Overall, these results indicate a positive outlook towards sexual dolls, as it allows men who aren't partners with sexual freedom. While it's true that sex doll owners were more inclined to believe they are entitled to have their sexual needs satisfied, they weren't doing this by coercing women to do so instead of using dolls instead.
