You don't have to deal with a middleman when you purchase from them. The cheap sex dolls' main parts are made in Korea. The dolls are assembled in the USA but made from parts made in Korea. This may be because there are tax advantages or US buyers might prefer to purchase products made in the USA (even though they are nominally US made).

Another reason for high costs is that US companies tend to use silicone, while Chinese firms use TPE (a cheaper type of plastic).
